Westfield Tea Tree Plaza is a large South Australian shopping centre located in Modbury, north-east of Adelaide. It is linked to the city by Adelaide's unique O-Bahn system, which terminates at the Tea Tree Plaza Interchange, and as such is a major hub for Adelaide's northern suburbs.[3] There is a smaller shopping centre building called Tea Tree Plus slightly to the north of the main centre. Tea Tree Plaza is the second largest shopping centre in Adelaide. Only Westfield Marion is larger.

The centre was built by The Westfield Group as part of an extensive subdivision of the area, which at the time was the largest remaining underdeveloped, nonindustrial land in the Adelaide metropolitan area. The centre opened in September 1970.[4] Located in the City of Tea Tree Gully, it is the major shopping hub for the north-east of Adelaide.
On 27 June 2005, a gang of jewel thieves broke into the centre through the roof and stole tens of thousands of dollars worth of jewellery, including gold bracelets and watches, from one of the centre's jewellery stores.[5]

Tea Tree Plaza is the second biggest shopping centre in Adelaide, behind 401 store Westfield Marion and in front of 220 store Elizabeth Shopping Centre and 203 store Centro Colonnades.
Tea Tree Plaza is owned by The Westfield Group and AMP Limited, who each own 50% of the centre.
The centre features a four-floor Myer department store, a Kmart, Target, Big W, Coles, Harris Scarfe, Woolworths, a Hoyts cinema plus over 250 speciality stores. The centre spans one main level, and one minor level below it which only features Myer, Woolworths, a food court, and a limited number of stores.
A major A$190 million expansion of the centre is soon to be underway, to incorporate the Tea Tree Plus and add about 95 new stores and a four-storey car park. When the redevelopment is finished, the total amount of stores will equate to about 376 retailers.[6]
